Oranje Orakel Rugby Blog(OORB) reported yesterday that the IRB Sevens Season 05/06 "kicked off". That was technically both correct and incorrect. Yes, the Dubai Sevens Tournament did start on 30 November 2005- more correctly named the Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens, as can be viewed at www.dubairugby7s.com.

The IRB Sevens- Dubai started today with Fidji hammering Tunisia 31-5. The next game is Samoa- Wales and the first Bok- sevens game follows against the Scots.
