SUPPORTERS UNION LAUNCHED
June the 1st will see the first phase in the establishment of the new South African Rugby Supporters Union (SARSU) with the launch of the SARSU Website. The initiative brings together South African supporters of rugby worldwide, across a broad profile of backgrounds, united in their passion for the game.
SARSU will endeavour to bring together like-minded South African who share their desire to spread that passion and see the game prosper, as a sport, amongst all South Africans.
The website, which goes live on June 1st is at www.sarsu.org and contains, amongst other things, the SARSU Constitution, Code of Conduct and Vision and Mission Statement.
This will be followed on the 12th of June by a formal media launch in Johannesburg where further details on SARSU's positioning and vision will be announced and be open for questions and discussion.
